Green/ white / maples / beans

If sourced from a reputable supplier there’s not much in them apart from white/ green are a lot cheaper than maples

I my have stopped buying maples, the quality is not the same as those in the 70s/80s. Green are too expensive, so white or blue peas for me.

Do the dropping still come out like there’s maples or tics in the diet

Can't say I've took much notice Neil. I only feed peas/beans straight in pots in the nest boxes when rearing.(I did feed weaned YBs for the first 2 weeks just beans/peas when I raced) My old birds are fed Bamfords Top Flight Multi Task ALL year round. The reason I stopped using maples is the birds used to leave them or eat them last when they were in a mix.

tbh i ever really thought of feeds i used jerry plug and a window hood mix thought the season i maybe some lin seed ect if needed haha and where all fed in there boxes so i could see which bird was eatin what ect lol

i was feeding the jerry towards the end of the week setting up for racing and fatty mix on return ect either way what ever i was doing was working for the short races lol i guessed alot of stuff back then as i was young lol

but atm just cant have birds due to the cost of living lol o and no dam house as thats been taken 5months so far and still nothing lol
