I don't like single tossing I think it scares the pigeon more than helping it ,,I find small groups of 6 birds do better or put them up in 2s when cocks driving hen to nest cock n hen together, my best results in mnfc ain't through single tossing it's been taking birds a totally different direction before race ,,
All I find by single tossing is you teach a bird how to fly at 30mph instead of maximum velocity for that day .
Just my opinion.

I don’t know why people think pigeons are competitive in flight, over the years I have found that birds fly according to the wind wether singled or libbed in groups I’ve had singled up birds reach home before me and groups arrive after
