Batenburg v.d. Merwe has timed 7 birds this morning. 712 miles.
Now has 12.
How many did they send?
No idea

How true when they say the distance is a leveller.
The 1st four into the UK are to 4 different sections.

Some very good birds, well done to them and the fanciers.
In my opinion the best of the UK birds is the one for Clive and Jill Roger's, to get that bird when they did right over in the West with the wind we had yesterday is a fantastic achievement.

Jelle Jellema clocked 5 birds at 771 miles. first prov 8th open. others all in first 51.
My first birds from both our longest races so far are both Jelle Jellema's, both came into me as stray youngsters, I know one of those comes from Mark Gilbert stock.
