Just txt my mate for info on returns. He sent 24, his 3rd bird home was a yearling of mine, a Black hen (grand-daughter of the black cock on the other thread) she was his first bird from a club race the other week when he sent 50.
He too says it's been harder than he expected. He's 15/24 flying 283 miles.

Great performance fro a yearling Hen King, especially with the returns as they are.
Looks like that old '03 cock had still been producing the goods even in his very old age.
