I use to do that or run it through a blender and freeze it in ice cubes bagsMurray wrote: ↑Sun Jun 23, 2024 8:21 am Also, at least once a week I throw some vegetables in the blender and give it to them.001.JPG
First of all they love the veggies, and it is a good way to give them the vitamins and minerals and trace elements which can be missing from a grain diet.
I also give them a fish oil capsule squeezed on the grain about once a week. They have white wattles and lovely soft plumage.![]()
I’m going to buy the mothers but I normally make up my own garlic oil so when that’s gone I will look at that
I would also use Turmeric shots in the water 1 day a week, Monday i would use this.NeilA wrote: ↑Sun Jun 23, 2024 8:40 amI’m going to buy the mothers but I normally make up my own garlic oil so when that’s gone I will look at that
I just use flax oil with a few cloves in it and left a week
Trouble is I don’t like leaving oils in my corn store when it’s hot like this so it’s more of a winter thing but will definitely change it for a all in one job
No, the ACV lowers the PH, obviously, and that is very important.NeilA wrote: ↑Sun Jun 23, 2024 8:36 amSo your system is more health related than to lower the PHMurray wrote: ↑Sun Jun 23, 2024 8:15 am I swear by apple cider vinegar. It is a great thing to promote the health of the birds, especially if combined with fresh garlic.003.JPG
Three times a week I crush a clove of garlic and put it in a bottle of lukewarm water. several hours later I strain out the garlic, add 10 ml of natural ACV and dilute it to make 3 litres.
The pigeons are always in brilliant health so it does them no harm![]()
I agree with that Neil.NeilA wrote: ↑Sun Jun 23, 2024 8:40 amI’m going to buy the mothers but I normally make up my own garlic oil so when that’s gone I will look at that

In India, it was traditionally used for disorders of the skin, upper respiratory tract, joints, and digestive system. Today, turmeric is promoted as a dietary supplement for a variety of conditions, including arthritis, digestive disorders, respiratory infections, allergies, liver disease, depression, and many others.
If you've tested your water and it has a high pH, that means that it's too basic or too alkaline. Water with a high pH can have serious repercussions, whether you're drinking it or using it in your pool, fish tank, or garden. In your fish tank, for instance, a high pH can make your fish very sick.
