Defo, its always good to get first hand information and now to follow the race, well at least the birds trapping at the end of the race
Plus contacting Leon during the Live Stream with any questions

16.07.2026

Feeding: 50% Mifuma Relax 50% Mifuma Top energy.

Suppelents: Tolisan Tollyamin Forte in water.

Training: 15 miles

Note: Only trained the cocks today. 1 missing from about 50. once again tollyamin forte in water for regeneration in preperation phase we give this 2-3x a week most certainly my favorite supplement.
Tomorrows training is canceled because they want to train with a few people from a different combine and the distance is to short for me to think the birds got time to seperate so we either train on our own or just let them fly on the house again.
If next week the combine training starts this was the last road training we might do today.Birds are all in top shape everything is fine

The reason is that before monday i was still feeding rather heavy. And i now give 50% top energy in the mixture which is lighter then before but not a drastic change. Basically just slowly getting them used to the new feeding that they will get for racing and also slimming them down slowly.
In my opinion its deadly to drastically changes stuff specially when it comes to feeding.

And top energy is still a somewhat light mixture with 12,7% protein and just 8,7% fat

Great input, Leon, and I hope you have a winning end to the old birds. 8-)

Can you give us an update, on how training is going for the young birds, Leon. You have a good number of young birds in your team, its going to be a good young bird season to follow.

20.07.2026

Feeding: 50% Mifuma Relax 50% Mifuma Power MIx

Suppelents: Nothing

Training: Just short period around the house this morning

Note: Not much happened over the weekend. Today is basketing for the first YB training with the combine tomorrow. Bit sad with how the training is handeled this year and i think its completey useless. We seperate the combine into 2 for training because the people that have further distance complain that its to far for them. So we will have 1 training tomorrow with half the combine aka the front of the combine and 1 training together probaly towards the end of the week with the whole combine. To me this is a huge misstake the birds will only learn once what its like having to seperate etc. But what can you do when those in power are the ones complaining because their birds aren't prepared good enough. Guess i have to accept that this is the way it is and i hope that it wont end like last year where the whole combine looses almost 40% of the their youngbirds on the first training again due to bad preperation...

Went to pick up the final food mixtures today for the racing season. After today the feeding will contrain 33% Power mix 33% Relax 33% Reise Light. They get this mixture 5-6 days now to fully adapt to them and then possibly next week is where things will start to get excited and interesting on here when i prepare for the races and can go indept on the feeding and supplements and why i use what etc.
