when i had a loft i was in there around 6am scraping them out and getting them out on there morning fly, then call them in and small amount of feed.

afternoon they would go out again and i would clean the loft and there food pots and fresh water. if they there being lazy i would try to keep them flying for atleast 30-40mins

For me on Roundabout....
Hens out around 6.30 am -flad up to try keeping them in the air as long as poss. (Isn't always successful and get them in as soon as they land on house roof.)
Cocks out at soon as hens in. Usually fly well for 3/4 to an hour with flag up get them in and ybs go out. Not quite got them under control yet but don't like to skimp on yb feeding so the control thing won't come til they have been ranging for a few weeks.
