Neil i think I'm just going to concentrate on my ybs see if I can get them going .
I'll train them with what old hens I still have left, I haven't got that many obs so will put more time & effort into them. Once I'm confident that they are coming well I can make a disision wether to carry them over for next year or not worth bothering with. There going to have to show me something a vast improvement in my racing or they won't be here at the end of the season.

Sound like a plan Neil about the hens yes I could do that but I've got it in the back of my mind that they'll fall at the 1st hurdle when I ask a question of them, & this stems from not racing them as ybs last year.

It's a real shame what happened to you so early in the season Dave. I know what it's like with a small team.
I always tell myself that I don't have the room to carry them all over so can't keep them all anyway.
I know that's not much help but Neils idea might still give you a bit of enjoyment until ybs start.
Good luck with whatever you decide mate.
