Any one got any photos or information on the difference in the two things relating to the eye of a pigeon

What one is fat for example

I thought it was mycoplasma but I’m reading that’s red and wet is that right as when I had fat eye a in the past o don’t remember it wet just slightly inflated and closing slowly

Best to read colin walker article he says fat eye as no herpes connected to it but mycoplasma is always present.

I read similar Anthony but then get confused with photos of fat eye
Some look wet and sore all red and like bubbles other photo more like my issue
Seems different search’s are giving me different views
Hopefully mine can be cleared up with the doxy / tylan

Did you treat again later I also read some birds are carriers bot show no symptoms how do we detect these any idea ?

I had it unopened on the box the Giantel doxy T so thought use it
I’m out of virkon need to go over the corn shop which I didn’t have time for today so had to order it online
Unfortunately I have no
Patience to wait to after Xmas
This is a 7 day course
So if no better they have 3 days thru will have nystain then I will hit them when the Virkon arrives

Read last night also about amoxicillin, etc being not good on micro plasma as the bacteria doesn’t have a cell wall and penicillin needs a cell wall to act where doxycycline works without a cell wall

I’m still not sure where it came from I think from a pair of late ones I was gifted as I saw it in August / September but then nothing so o thought it had gone through them then noticed it again
