The performances would be paramount, and a pigeons colour and eye (for instance) would have zero influence on me
isn't this what we should all be focusing on performance, if it hasn't got winner's across several generations it's a big risk to part with your hard earned cash or have I got it wrong, no doubt someone will put me right.
What type of performance pal
There's lads winning where birds fly over there loft and fair play but can't see these birds helping flyers who live in bad locations and away from drag of birds ?
Then there's unreal performances
3 I note last couple of yrs a lad here called Nathan bougen went 2nd nrcc on strong east wind flying ro kingslynn and winner was in Nottingham I think this was unreal
Another one was nrcc Fraserburgh 2022 winner was in alford nr Skegness this was super tough race and 2nd open was a loft flying over hundred miles more to Essex right down in Essex this pigeon was unbelievable,
Another one was nrcc Dunbar yb winner was in alford nr Skegness but I'm sure there was a yb raced by man in Essex he's second name was ling this yb flew well over 100 miles probably 120,30 miles more to be near top of open ,,
Now personally I would rather 6 baby's of these birds than 24 from a loft topping feds where they fly over there roof race day ?.
Wasn’t it Ted Gunn? Ling does fly in Essex the brothers nephew but I think it was Gunn that day

He and Trumpy are the best 2 sprinters in the West Mids at the mo

And if thats your findings thats all you can go off

Shaun flies Weds Sat Weds Sat Weds Sat in every race he can (never picks and chooses a Fed). So over the course of a season he gets plenty of all winds. His consistency of top class effort is frightening

Lee Painter has a Best Kittel cock this time 2 x 1st Fed and 5 times in top 9 of the Fed

I can go on all night with people winning with Best Kittel. So, i say they do have some kinda talent. They must have

But i acknowledge you maybe never saw the best of them

Mike can I ask you how close did Shaun go to acquire this Best Kittle family, direct children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren? when working on this line.

my hen this year at Fraserburgh 412 miles doing 1287 ypm I think she didn’t do bad only a yearling so that’s one I think I could work with
Beat over 90 per cent of the entry flying must be 90 miles further than the short fliers . I live north of London and they went up in a west wind so to have beat my section and the one to the East in Essex wasn’t bad
Can she do it again or did she have a lucky break that’s to be found out

One thing I am thankful about is my friend Nathan Hoggard who loaned the parents had now gifted them to me
Not many would do that and after I asked to buy them
