Different ways of training.
I would be furious if my young birds behaved like that.
I took my Youngstars 22 miles this afternoon, they landed together and all were in within 10 seconds.
I was standing next to the sputnik and all I could see was feet dropping towards me.
This is simply what I expect from pigeons that are ready to race.

I have to say mine will be trapping like that when I first start training them, being on an open loft it usually takes a few races before they get the idea lol
Its interesting to see that he has water on the trap for them, my birds primarily look for water before food so would never trap very quickly if they could get a drink outside the loft !!
