As I said to Catherine, some of the younger ones have never felt rain in their lives, so it's no wonder they got a bit wild and excited. :D

I’m sitting out in the country about to toss the young birds.
The line in the distance is the horizon

Yep, 20 miles that way is home.
The youngstars did it in 19 minutes. Beat me home, the young buggers :D
I called Catherine to say I was 5 minutes out, we were talking and she said, "they're here".
They must have been going about 1850 yards.

A nice open spot Muzza, we haven't got too many of those over here any more :? :?
Good to see they made it back in good time, you must be getting quite excited about your first race now !!
All the best mate.

:( No I'm more nervous than a teenager on his first date.

The Youngstars have had lots and lots of tosses, and I've lost 2. That's Two.
I 'retired' one to be Big Ronnie's little mate because she just couldn't keep up :) , one is going to stock, I've lost several off the loft, but these ones that have been educated just keep going.

This makes me a bit uneasy. I have been 'sitting' on them at bit. Their first race is still 3 weeks away so I have to try to get some longer tosses into them but try to have them ready when they need to be, not hanging them out for the falcons before they need to.

Wish me luck.
