It's great to have someone to talk to about things I am not sure about and this is one of them....
Last week my yearling cocks went to bicc nort sur erdre
(323 miles) 4 of them came next day but didn't seem to be that hurt by it.
Next week ( 2 weeks later) is Bicc st. Philbert which is a similar distance.
My question is......is it too soon to send them again.?
My 1st bird from last week was another yearling flying 8 hours and I do intend to send him again, just not sure about the late-comers.

These are my thoughts, there is no guarantee offered or implied

A good, fit, healthy yearling that has had a couple of races under it's belt to get it fit will go 300 miles twice in a fortnight. Absolutely. No doubt at all.
The things that cannot be judged by some one else are, is it a good pigeon? Is it a fit pigeon? Is it a healthy pigeon?
If it scores 3/3 you might win.
If it scores 2/3 you might get it home.
If it scores 1/3, why are you spending money sending it?

My thoughts on this question Dave, you know your birds the best. Since the yearling last race, what was the recovery time of the yearling. Is it showing that it is in full racing health, if any doubts leave it at home. Its your call Dave. Just make the right choice, that is all you can do mate.

What Devo says is right. If the day after a 300 mile race, a yearling widower is not looking as fresh and well as it was before it went, you may put a question mark beside it.
If it does it twice, well

But seriously Dave, If your yearlings are truly 'on song' they should go better after a fortnight between races, and if they take benefit from that they could go again two weeks later and perform even better.

I'm a bit far away to see how your birds are, but if you are pleased with how the birds are, send them. They won't win anything sitting at home.

Too true Murray, probem is I dont have many birds and I these are the best Ive ever had and I think I am just scared of losing them.

Thanks Albert. So how can I tell if the night out on the last race has taken too much out of them.
They have all come back 'bouncing' and chasing their hens again but 2 of them are quite skinny compared to the others.

Ah, now there is where you need to make a decision. If they all feel terrific except for two, maybe those two are not right to go again.
You need to handle those two every day between now and hampering. If they fill right out in the next few days, good. If you still feel that they are a bit light, you might forget about this week for those two.
There's other races.
There is a good old saying. "If in doubt, leave it out'.
