The most important part of the sport, is keeping your birds fit and healthy. Everyday loft tasks at routine times, cleaning of the loft and fresh water daily in clean drinkers. Fresh grit and minerals, and daily feeding of good nutrition feeds. We can then look at other ways of keeping our birds healthy, so this video may help some members.

Keeping healthy birds.
Looks interesting.
I'm about to brave the cold and let the Young Stars out for their morning exercise. I'll watch it later.

I watched that and did find it informative.
I did see one thing which I shall give a try. But a lot of it is what I have been doing every day for years, simply because it made sense to me.
A clean, dry loft, with correct ventilation.
Minimising the use of chemical medications.
Feeding lots of ' natural additives' to enhance their health. ( what you and I call vegetables and garlic and herbs and stuff).
The bloke speaks well, and sounds like an 'expert'.
I'm just a bloke in St Arnaud.

Absolutely.
A lot of good information on the video.
But the the new starter should always talk to others before giving any additives to the pigeons. These things are all very beneficial to the pigeon's health, but must be used correctly.

This is where new starters can gain some knowledge, a site free to join. Getting some good advice from other members, only to willing to help. We all started this way I would say,
Gaining Knowledge from others and research on the sport.
I totally agree.
The most misused word in the English language is :
Natural.
Marketing has twisted 'natural' to mean clean, non toxic, desirable, a product of nature, in other words, good. And natural
But so are viruses, bacteria, malaria, cholera, hepatitis, cancer and death. Natural.
Do not be taken in by a pack with the word 'Natural' on it. It may mean it's in the seller's nature to see a sucker at 100 paces.
