Today at afternoon when i went into the loft i was sad to see that our oldest pigeon and best breeder we ever had from 2006 has passed. He was a grandson from the famous de kannibaal that we breed ourself and kept back then. he became a super breeder in our loft having breed several winners including 1.st Ace pigeon Federation 1.st ace pigeon combine and so on with different hens in different lofts. Now its to hope that his last daughter that we have out of him can carry on his legacy and maybe lay 2 more eggs since shes also already from 2014 to keep some of his genes alive in the loft

Sorry to hear of the News Leon, I remember this old fella. I must say when I was at your lofts, he did look well mate. You have so many top birds in your lofts, and I know there is also something special about to arrive. I hope you get a few youngsters off the hen, to carry on the family lines of De Kannibaal.

A good old age there Leon. I have 2 hens here at stock that were born in 2014. So 11 year olds and still laying. Just weaned a cracking pair of youngsters from one of them.

That is sad, Leon, but he had a wonderfully long life.
It's always sad when you you lose a great old pigeon like that.
Greetings from the land down under. :D
Blessed is he who expecteth nothing, for verily, he shall not be disappointed.
