Ears on barley

I don’t think it makes any difference. Last year the farm I buy my barley from had a problem when harvesting, all the grains had tails on, pigeons eat it had no health issues.

put it in a cement mixer cap of oil and tumble for 20 min the they will pay 3x for it lol all foreign feed polished so you buy it

I've had good success on feeding what they want but with no water adding fats after there main mix is left still with no water this self regulated them some ate more but bird for bird they only eat what they can remove feed left then 20 mins later give water
