Yesterday both the WOESRC and the 3 counties were at Brighton. It was the last race of the season for the WOESRC. The 3 Counties still have 2 more. 3 of our members sent to both. Most just sent with the combine. I just sent my 2 with the 3 Counties.
The 3 Counties were liberated first at 10.00. Clear blue skies with a light SW. 4 members sent 77 birds. Dave and John Staddon took the first 3. I did get both of mine with the B.CH hen from Trev being my first bird. She came back from the SW so had obviously gone well over. Seems that they struggled a bit further down Exeter, Honiton way.
The combine were liberated at 10.30 in the same conditions. This should really have given an advantage to the Bristol clubs but once again our club dominated the combine result with Dave & John Staddon taking the first 3. For the hen that won the combine this was her third x 1st Combine this year. A great young hen.

This is this weeks combine result
Our club was the top club from 13 clubs in the combine on points and 2nd overall. Another great season for our club and members.
