Our race this weekend was brought forward to Friday due to the bad weather predicted for the weekend (which as it happens wasn't as bad as forecast). This race was another Amalgamation race with 2 other Feds, the birds were liberated from Oakhampton (155miles to me) at 6.45am in another light North east wind which got more Northerly on route. I did think they could possibly do 50mph but expected mine to be nearer 45mph which turned out to be the case. Mr and Mrs May took the first 5 doing 1435ypm with Darren's Dad Jonnie taking the 6th spot, again they have also taken the first 6 places in the Fed. We won't have the results of the Amalgamation for another couple of weeks. I was in my usual position doing 1231ypm, I was fairly pleased with that and with my returns. Although it was a relatively quick race it seemed to be a tough one with some birds taking most of the day to get back and with a fair few empty perches at night fall, I was 4 of my 20 out overnight with one of them returning yesterday so I'm still 3 out.

Thanks guys 👍 I have had one more home this evening, it is one of Roy Oliver's (Former Worthing club Secretary) it does have an injury to his shoulder, not too major but bad enough to explain why it's taken him this long to make it back.

Good to hear Trev.
That they get home when injured is always good.
Greetings from the land down under. :D
