Our second race is being flown from Rugby, 108miles to me, on Monday 30th April.
We had 8 members send 230 birds, I myself have sent 32, most of these are having their first race this year.

Our birds were liberated at 10am this morning in a light South west wind, which looking at the BICC result was obviously stronger on route, I also heard from George who said there was a strong South West wind at his which is also on their route home.
As you know I was working so had set the clock running and wasn't there to see them home, so I had to wait until I got home to find out how they'd done.
Considering most of these birds hadn't seen a basket since last September and had been shut up until about 4 weeks ago I'm pretty pleased with how they came.

This is our club result

This is how my birds were clocked.

I've actually now got 27/32 home, the frustrating thing is that 2 of the missing birds did actually go last week !!

It looks like Eastbourne will top the Fed this week doing 1346ypm, I'll post the full result for that when I've got it.

Thanks both 👍 Pretty satisfied with that considering they were straight in at 108miles and hadn't seen the basket since last September for the yearlings and July for the old birds !!
Your Blue pied was my 8th bird Buster, which again, considering she has only had a handful of short races before and done nothing since last July was pretty good.
I'm not sure how far I'll push her yet, she might just stick at the shorter ones for now, I do have 3 nice babies from her, one is a late bred that will have a couple of the later races, the other two are youngsters.
