Cleaning out this morning and takes twice as long as just like spreading butter as that wet in lofts
We desperately need a good run of decent weather to dry things out Buster. With so much wet weather for so long the damp has got in everywhere. I scrape mine out every day but still not as good as I would like.
I feel sorry for you blokes. it has been a long wet winter for you. And the constant damp is where the birds can start going down with various illnesses. I hope you get a decent dry spell shortly.
We had to drive through a flood yesterday when we went out, and that was on a main road. The trouble is the water table is so high and the ground so sodden that any rain that falls has nowhere to go and just stays on the surface. No ditches are cleared out nowadays. We have the Somerset levels down here that are designed to flood during bad weather but there are a couple of villages on the levels that have been cut off for a couple of months now with roads impassable.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.
