I have raised six Jos Thone' young birds in the last year. They are off the very best Thone' pigeons.
The red boys were raised from eggs fostered under old Gordon.
The grizzle and his brother were raised from eggs fostered under the Melbourne hen.
The slate blue and his white flight brother came from a mate's place, out of the nest.
Anyone notice anything?
Yep, they are all cock birds. Every one of them. You could not arrange that if you wanted too.
Now, some hens.....

Funny how some years you end up with a lot more of one sex than the other.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.

This is the white flight Jos Thone' boy on the board with a beautiful wee hen which is a Van Den Bulck x Pitbull x Heremans sort of thing. You should see her brother, :o
Anyway, they quite like each other. :D
