They were both steady during the season. Both had all 8 races.

GB23A97265 Blue Chequer Cock

Stoney Cross 34 miles 15th bird 3hrs 08mins
Stoney Cross 34 miles 5th bird 1hr 10mins
Littlehampton 83 miles 6th bird 4hrs 31mins
Littlehampton 83 miles 8th bird found in loft 20.30
Stoney Cross 34 miles 3rd bird 58 mins
Littlehampton 83 miles 4th bird 2hrs 31mins
Littlehampton 83 miles 8th bird next day
Brighton 102 miles 7th bird 4hrs 41 mins

This pigeon was quite a character. He always followed me around for a few peanuts. He started looking unwell a week after the last race and died a week later.

GB23S74224 Blue Cock

Stoney Cross 34 miles 12th bird 2hrs 51mins
Stoney Cross 34 miles 20th bird found in loft 20.45
Littlehampton 83 miles 5th bird 4hrs 04mins
Littlehampton 83 miles 3rd bird 2hrs 40mins
Stoney Cross 34 miles 9th bird 3hrs 18mins
Littlehampton 83 miles 9th bird found in loft 20.55
Littlehampton 83 miles 1st bird 27th club 1hr 50mins
Brighton 102 miles 3rd bird 3hrs 17mins

This cock went missing off the loft a couple of weeks after the end of the season. Can only think he must have been taken by a hawk.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.

Out of the 12 I had from you Buster I had 6 that had all 8 races. Unfortunately lost the 2 after the season had finished. I lost 3 off the loft. The other 3 were:

GB23A97266 Blue Chequer Hen

Stoney Cross 34 miles 9th bird 2hrs 11mins
Stoney Cross 34 miles 9th bird 1hr 38mins
Littlehampton 83 miles Lost. From this race I had one reported In Portsmouth only a few miles from the liberation point and lost five others in that race.

GB23S74221 Blue Cock. He had 4 races

Stoney Cross 34 miles 18th bird found in loft 15.10.
Stoney Cross 34 miles 17th bird 6hrs 58mins
Littlehampton 83 miles 12th bird Next day.
Littlehampton 83 miles Lost

GB23S74223 Blue Cock

Stoney Cross 34 miles 20th bird Next day
Stoney Cross 34 miles 1st bird 14th combine 1hr 03mins
Littlehampton 83 miles 8th bird 5hrs 07mins
Littlehampton 83 miles Lost

From the Littlehampton race that I lost both 21 & 23 I lost one other bird who was reported 10 days later in Holland and one that returned 21 days late.

I also raced a youngster that I bred out of “Steve” GB22C76342 X GB22B11751 both from Buster.

GB23A97278 Blue Chequer W/F Hen

She had 3 races.

Stoney Cross 34 miles 7th bird 1hr 35mins
Stoney Cross 34 miles 3rd bird 1hr 06mins
Littlehampton 83 miles 14th bird. She was reported in Portsmouth not many miles from the liberation point. She was brought back to Wincanton on a transporter that was racing from Wincanton a couple of weeks later. I lost 6 birds that weekend and the was a strong S.W headwind with heavy showers through the day.
She is a nice bird and although will be used as a widowhood hen at the start of the season I will possibly get her some races later in the season.
I will get a photo of her.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.
