A nice pearl eye. The only thing that I would have preferred to of seen from a breeding prospective is a better inner circle. I would just like to have seen this circle with a single violet colour than having the dark shading between 4 & 9 and a little wider between 11 & 2. But having said that I love the circle of colouration and the iris with plenty of room in it.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.

At present 52.50 Euros in an auction, off very good birds.

Yes Andy, this bird was kept for a very good reason i would think.

Here is a pigeon from one of the best lofts that has ever existed in international racing pigeon racing. Who doesn't know him??

Gaby Vandenabeele from Dentergem (Belgium),

who made history with such famous pigeons as the "Little", the "Wittenbuik" , the "Colonel" , the "Blicksem" , the "Rudy" etc. Not only was his sporting fame limitless, the Vandenabeele's are still causing a sensation at many clubs today. The breeding value of these pigeons is unique. Gaby Vandenabeele held a total sale a few years ago. Here you have the opportunity to purchase an original hen again, bred from the best lines that were available in Dentergem. The pigeon still laid perfectly in 2023!!!!

On offer: B-14/3067006 case W.

The father of the pigeon is the "09-5024 - Robby" , with 1. Tours vs. 273 p., 17. Bourges vs. 2,054 p., 32. Limoges vs. 6,810 p., . Brive vs. 2,161 p., 26. Brive vs. 10,089 p., 7 Brive vs. 4,703 p . He was bred in Dentergem from the "Rolex" , which in turn comes from a joint breeding with Jos Thone. The "Neptunus" by Gaby was mated to a daughter of " Sumo" by Thone. The " Rolex" was paired here with "Naomi" from "Jonge Zorro" with "Cleopatra" , a half-sister of "Wittenbuik" . "Naomi" is sister of "Tottie" (1st Brive ), "Bourges" (1. Bourges), "Charlotte" etc.

Mother of the pigeon is "Tonia" , bred from "Alfred" , 1st nat. Brive vs. 16,007 p., 1. Chateauroux vs. 591 p., 18. Chateauroux vs. 5,187 p. etc. played by A. D`Huyvetter, from two Vandenabeele pigeons . He was mated to "Mona", a daughter of the world sire "Bliksem" with "Frieda". All further words are superfluous.
