Andy when you get a chance.
I prefer the second eye, the yellow. The inner circle of both are well serrated although both could also be a little wider. The circle of colouration in the first eye is a violet and the second a yellow/green. The iris in both eyes are quite full. The iris in the yellow is a bit more mountainous with some dark areas. I think they could breed quite well but would want to go with ones with a bit more open irises.

The second one for me all day long Andy, and i thought it was a good breeding eye. Still a young bird 23 ring.Andy wrote: ↑Thu Oct 12, 2023 7:47 pm I prefer the second eye, the yellow. Certainly with the inner circle it should breed something useful. The pupil is a bit large due probably to the lack of good light which my be making the inner circle look a bit narrower than it is. Definitely the better of the 2.
