Is this the one where they fly as babies in own country and then go there for the OLR

Yes mate, i think its about getting them in early, to settle them and get them flying around for a while before training.

Just been chatting to guy from Germany, he was telling me if i enter the Germany OLR. It is tailwinds for this loft, so i should be looking at sending sprint birds, so that was a good tip for me. I am still looking for 5 youngsters to send. but buy them in Germany to go right to OLr race.

So now he has told me there are bad reports about the 2 German OlR, so i wont be sending to these lofts. I may look at the Algarve great Derby.

I think that has been a disaster too this year Dev. I think they only got 106 on the day in the final from over 1500. After 6 days still only around half from 420km, 260mls.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.

I got this email today and thought i would share for members.

Chris & I have decided to no longer work as agents for the Algarve Great Derby

When the race was being sold and had several people interested, when this all fell through that’s when we decided we could no longer support the race.

We had to do what we could to support the UK competitors through to the final race day.

We wish the race well for the future.

We have 2 new races that we will be agents for Algarve Elite One Loft Race this is a new race and Mira which has been running since 1997.

We will be in touch once we have all the full details of these races for 2024
