i was not the only one when birds were going well in training they disappeared 2 nestmates bred from raced birds were going well 35ml toss one day both gone next day from same place had one same way bred as your grizzle same going well gone from 400 birds down to 71 big drop in the corn bill

I have doubts about these OLR's. There are fit, healthy young birds from good lofts, mixed with some that are not so fit and healthy from perhaps not so good lofts. The smash trainers they seem to get would indicate that the health is not as good as it should be. Heavy losses from short distances is often a sign that something is wrong with the loft or management, I believe.
