I spoke to Devo this morning. He gave me permission to put something on the forum.
He and Maria have had a really though time. They had actually agreed to buy an apartment in Spain next to Dev’s brother. Sold their house within an hour of putting it on the market and had brought all new furniture for their new home. Very sadly at the same time Maria was diagnosed with first stage vascular dementia. So they had to cancel their intended purchase and move to Spain and take their house off the market.
Dev is having treatment to slow down the scaring on his lungs which is working well. He is helping a young fancier with advice and is thinking of buying a few youngsters for someone else to race.
I wish Dev and Maria all the best.
He said he did look in on the forum this morning and was sorry to hear that George was unwell.

Totally agree, Buster. It would be nice to see Devo back on here. For him and us.
Greetings from the land down under.

Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.
Thanks to all the members, yes that is right what Andy wrote about Maria and myself. We were looking forward to a new life in Spain, but things happen in life for a reason. So with Marias health problems and my own. We stayed in our home, the health insurance to live in Spain for Maria went from £3000 to £10000. Each 12 months,So that put an end to the move.
