I can remember, I don't know, 6 or 8 years ago, when it was so hot, like 45c, and I would go out to give the pigeons cold water to keep them going, and feel the moisture drying off my eyes. Almost zero humidity. It was horrible.
But the pigeons didn't seem to worry. looking back I don't think they even drank a lot more water. They were in the shade and had food and water, so they were happy.
I have to admit I am pleased that we don't have that sort of thing anymore.
