@Andy123 Will be a hard one for you & Phil tomorrow. 20 mph + SW wind @Portsmouth from the early morning. Brighton going to have gusts of 40 mph SW from 10.00 am. Wishing you both good luck.

Just reading BHW. I see Mark Gilbert sent 313 birds to Falaise at an entry cost of £1095.50 Shocked   That's without his pooling sum. He certainly goes to war with an army. Wink

So just him alone has roughly a 3.75% chance of winning the national.

That's pretty decent odds for Mark.

Good luck to all that has sent.

That's even before you rule out the Welsh and West section senders who can't win tomorrow if the weather stays the same.

Apparently they were cutting the strings ready for a liberation when the flap on one of the crates from Bromley marking station fell inwards and the birds from that crate escaped. Liberation then had to be aborted as all they other birds marked at that marking station had to be wing stamped for verification.

Yes will be tough but all good experience for them. Ideal in someways for the 2 cocks I want to send to Agen in a months time.

Birds liberated at 8.30am in a strong WSW turning stronger and Westerly in the channel. A tough day for ours.

Good luck to our members members who have pigeons in this race and also to Leslie and Phil.
