Our race isn't until Monday.
For those who don't know, I fly with the Littlehampton RPC in the Sussex North Road Federation.
We are at Rugby 108miles 840yds.

It's been cloudy but mild and dry today with the odd very light shower.

If they go Saturday I'd guess at 3hrs 5mins but it will be a very different race Sunday or Monday as the wind is changing.

I have to say I've never really fed much Barley, I always saw it as more of a winter corn.
We do have several members in our club who I know use it, might be worth investing in a bag or two !!

Our Federation made the decision today to basket Sunday for a Monday liberation, frustrating but I'd rather that than no race at all. The birds well being must come first, it's a bit early in the season to start throwing birds away unesecerilly so I think it's the right call.

This weekends race from Rugby has been postponed until Monday due to the poor weather forecast. We will now be basketing Sunday for a Monday liberation, bit of a ball ache as I have to work but I guess thats the advantage of ETS.
