Re: Amino acids.

I do think that the only true way to see if any of these products give any benefit would be to test them within your own loft. Using them on half your team and not on the other. They would then have exactly the same conditions on race day.

Re: Congratluations

Very well done to forum member Neil Andrews (NeilA) Yesterday saw him win 1,2,3 Club and 1,2,4 Federation Unfortunately his Federation only alllow 3 prizes per loft so other pigeons were denied their place on the Federation sheet Neil's a good flier and often keeps his head down in terms of his res...

Re: Amino acids.

I wouldn't knock something until I'd tried something that's my point You can't speak of any plus/negative aspects of it without having used it That's a valid point Mike. But how do fanciers evaluate products? A fancier who rears fantastic looking YBs without using a product can't rear better? A fan...

Can’t say I’ve ever heard of it before as needing to give it in addition to what’s naturally in their food. When farming we never gave the cows any supplements or minerals.

Re: Cocks bringing up youngsters

I don’t think darkness is all it’s cracked up to be but that’s just my personal opinion. There’s no denying that they look immaculate but they’re also flying with a wing of nest flights. The new flight feathers are generally a bit bigger and stronger than nest flights. You say modern darkness Neil! ...

Re: Cocks bringing up youngsters

Hi Neil. I do breed youngsters from my widowhood’s. As I keep no stock birds and only the odd pair of naturals my youngsters come from my widowers. I pair them up on Boxing Day. I let them rear this round. Either one or two depending on the hatch, not bothered which. I took the hens away when the y...
