Re: Nesting material.
I also put straw in the loft, some birds use it but it is amazing what other stuff they do try to bring in, I've even had them try and drag my bob wires to their boxes 🤪😕😂 They will pretty much use anything but their favourite is pine needles from our neighbours pine tree. Re: Loss of a couple of Australian greats
Very sad, both exceptional players and great ambassadors for their country and sport.
Such a young age, just goes to show we really do need to make the most of every day.
RIP Rodney and Shane, condolences to their families.

It's been a very unsettled couple of days and today wasn't much different, mild with the odd light shower this morning and brighter this afternoon.

Re: few pairs and the eyes
I think he's a cracking looking bird George again I think it's a good distance eye and should compliment your hen nicely.
I also really like the blue tic eyed hen, do you know if she did anything ???
Is the pair still together or have you tried them with other partners ???

Re: Life in Bendigo.
This afternoon I was out on the patio reading a Wilbur Smith novel, and thought it was about time to let the duifs out. Olly was asleep on top of the book case. Flynn was having a snooze in the hall,007.JPG There was no sign of the Banjo. We looked and looked and called and called. Then I s...

Re: for Andy
I will stick my neck out and say that this is the eye of a successful distance racer George, as Andy said it will go well with a much fuller eye like your first photo in this thread.George and Morgan wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 6:05 pm Andy took this from another site what do you make of it
