I have just had the first eggs hatch. So now into the breeding season. I am still feeding the same mix, versalaga all round mix. They will be kept on this mix even during racing. I will just add a few more peanuts and sunflower hearts as an extra. Plus I have a bag of hemp that I will use some of.

Our garden doesn’t look much at present. Things are just starting to come to life again. Love the spring.

Old age doesn’t come alone. I get a few aches from years of being kicked by cows and just the wear and tear that we put on our bodies when younger.

I agree Murray that you can keep birds in too long. When they are eventually let out all they want to do is fly. I haven’t had much success in breaking old birds that have been shut in for a long time. Even with youngsters that I got from Louella that were kept in for a long time to make sure I had ...
