Re: Pete’s Muzzabella missing

Andy wrote: Mon Apr 11, 2022 9:20 am No sign of her this morning. She was sitting eggs that I was going to throw away, but I have now moved them under another pair.
Well done. We may have lost her, but she can live on through her progeny.
Hopefully the 'Muzzaboy' will do something.

Re: New floor laid.

That is a nice job, Andy. :D I agree, I would be using generous amounts of sealant around the edges. That plywood looks different to what we get down under. We get pine plywood, while I suspect that is birch? In any case, I would be getting that drinker off the floor. I don't care what the marketing...

Re: Pete’s Muzzabella missing

Oh Andy. :(
I am so sorry to hear that. She's gone, for sure. Such a shame, she was a little star.

Bang. That was that.
You will be devastated.

Re: Just 3 weeks to go

You are right, Andy, times change, old problems are solved and new ones come along. People who give it away were probably going to anyway. My feeling is that there are far fewer flyers than there were perhaps 30 or 40 years ago but the fanciers competing today are very competitive and specialized. I...

Re: Life in Bendigo.

Different subject, :D I was emptying some dirty nest bowls into the organic waste bin, (that's the one with the GREEN lid, that is a hint   ), and a baby magpie was standing on another of our bins. It watched me brushing out the bowls, and jumped over onto the green waste bin. When I h...

Re: Just 3 weeks to go

I think this latest news although promising for this season could still spell the beginning of the end for Channel racing in the UK as there are a lot of members who won't want to sign their lofts on with Vets and the costs involved in getting an annual vet inspection will end being extortionate, i...
