Re: Bowbroom
Yes mate - it has!!!
Best ask Buster what happened. I have spoken to BB via email and he reckons Buster done him a favour. I was hoping we could get him back on but he is not interested.
I've a feeling it could be because of what I viewed as a genuine typo error on the canker thread. To me it ...

Re: Grit and Minerals
Wow Awesome Goose. Pau to Cumbria is a hell of a race - Much respect to you.
As a "southern softy" I only fly 743 to Barcelona.
Do you know any of the lads from the N East that fly with thr NFC and the Bicc. They often come down to our marking station in Northampton (4 +hour journey down and ...

Re: Grit and Minerals
Got to be honest goose, I hate trawling through all the results anyway. One of the reasons I can't be done with fb.
What sort of distance do you get over the channel?
Were in Cumbria so a lot of distance from the channel is the answer  We've won section the 2 times we've sent to 625 ...

Re: Grit and Minerals
How has your season gone goose? I believe you like a bit of distance. I don't know where you are so not sure if you fly the Channel or not.
It's nice to know that top fanciers like the Staddons have also had it tough over the channel this year.
I think more or less every channel race has been ...

Re: Grit and Minerals
Dave and John didn’t have their usual season. Of course the heat of the summer resulting in some terrible national and international races with heavy losses didn’t help. In one race they sent 29 yearlings, I think it was the CSCFC Pau race. Their first bird wasn’t until day 3 and he died the ...

Re: Grit and Minerals
No offence taken at all Goose. I am honest in my performances and experiences. Yes I could probably do a bit better and don’t make excuses. I am one of the shortest fliers in both our club and also the 3 counties. Our club covers a radius of 30 miles East to West and around 10 miles South to ...

Re: Grit and Minerals
I am mainly talking about my widowhood cocks when regards to racing Dave. They were exercised twice a day and never went down in the garden. They had every race of the old bird season, 14 races, and never had any grit during all that time. They preformed well enough.
When you say ...
