Re: Could I get some advice please.
Hi Zwols, didnt think it mattered when you do them. I do them at the same time as the young birds. Young birds were ready and I thought Id give the racers a rest before Pau. So the timing was good all round. Is it detrimental to jab them during the season?, didnt think it was supposed to affect them...

Could I get some advice please.
I have a 2yo w.hood cock that appears to have had an adverse reaction to the paramyxo virus jab. Done all my birds at the same time and all the others appear to be ok including the young birds. This one has gone from being my first bird back from racing for the last 2 weeks to just sitting with ruff...

Re: Yb teams
No expert, but I l8ke to put a couple of 3rd babies in with a kit of 1st and 2nd round yb that had long since been kitted up and ranging. I find they learn quicker. You just have to be careful the first few weeks they start going out. They newd to be flying ressonably well before letting them out wi...

Re: Bicc Guernsey
Ah, thanks Andy, I stand corrected anyway, it was 1895 birds. So, you are saying that 156 members verified the first bird only. So from 165 members who sent most clocked one bird. I guess that constitutes a GOOD race. Never looked at the national result like that before. Thanks for enlightening me A...

Bicc Guernsey
Doesn't look like they had a very good race despite the nice weather.
Only 156 clocked from 3000+ birds. Only 5 clocked in the NC section.

Re: Young birds OLR
George, Im guessing you havent put those birds in yourself. Just wondering how you selected the vendors or the birds. Probably a bit naieve but Ive not seen this sort of thing before.
Wish you very well with them mate. Be grateful if you could keep us posted on their progress.

Re: Ceramic Medium Pot Drinker?
These look like clay-pots for the pickstones. The ceramic ones are "glazed" and much tougher. The glazed ones are not porous either.
These are intended to be disposable, but Im sure we have all used them at one time or another for different things.
