Re: Tail Feathers

Hmmm. Its one of my Bicc Pau candidates (6 weeks) and 600 plus miles. Wouldnt want to send it if hes not in good feather. I guess I'm lucky that the feckin hawk only got a couple of feathers!!! My concern would be the races it will miss before going too 600 miles not it's tail feathers, they will b...

Re: Members or birds

What I said king was if my club had a 2bird and I won it and it was part of a club race where I finished say 10th I would think what a shit race I have had But that's maybe only you? Fanciers have no problems winning pools further down the result? why should a nom or 2B race be different? We have a...

Re: Members or birds

We were talking about club races Even so Neil surely fanciers flying in these 2B noms in clubs will be sending their best birds? My old club had a 2B Nom and you had too card in the club to stand any chance of winning the 2B. The 2B Club did highlight those fanciers who could pick their best birds ...

Re: Tail Feathers

They can take up to six weeks to grow. They can grow on a YB in less than 3 weeks? I had a bird return from the 1st YB race one year missing her tail and she was sent again for the 4th race. So 3 weeks king from it happening to fully grown that’s lively I didn't say it was fully grown. A bird can f...

Re: Members or birds

I be honest lads you can dress a result up but for me there's 1 winner n there's a good bird in bad location on result,, All these limits n 2 birds n special noms are OK for club entertainment but there not real results it's like the egg n spoon race at sports day it's a laugh. The lads in the NW w...

Re: Members or birds

Big senders I love em it don't change the result in my opinion, Bird limits we have keeps members happy but it's a false result thets be honest who wants prizes they didn't win? In Dublin in isrf it's 50 bird limit n a member or partnership can only belong to one club To me this is a great thing to...

Re: Members or birds

Some clubs I know, have limits on the places each member can take, and another bone of contention is birdage on the result that includes trainers entered by members, that don't have a clock set. I didn’t know that went in that not right to include them in a the result under them circumstances We ha...

Re: Members or birds

Members EVERY time. The number of birds is good for selling nothing but else. Back in the 80s by old club had say 45 sending 300, the race this week saw 10 sending 106
