I agree we all like a nice bird in the hand, but Winners come in all shapes and sizes. The basket is the best selection of a pigeon.

Was washing a few pot eggs today and didn't realize how many of the old Eltex china eggs I still had. Anybody else still use them?

When I first married and worked shifts. WORK came first. Pigeons have ALWAYS been just a hobby for me. I missed clocking due to hold overs ect and lost a few positions. If anybody offered me the right amount I'd sell every bird in the loft. And just start again.

I raced birds for near on 50 years. I can count on one hand, birds I had that were any good that were not raced as YBs. Either train them hard or try to get at least one race from them.
