I always used Moxidectin for this, but the Cockney "Boy Wonder" has an alternative and probably better treatment for this

Just get a pipe wide enough for it to go in. Pour oil around the inside of the pipe and then some chicken/ham. Cat goes in for feed, gets covered in oil then goes home to its warm house. Hopefully onto their carpet or suite. Soon get rid of their cat, and you’ve done nothing wrong!
