Re: Tail Feathers

Yes it does their heads in. That's why you don't see many old birds racing here. If they have half a dozen races they are usually too hawk shy to race properly. Re: Life in Bealiba.

Thanks Trev, a bit of rain won't hurt, it's all closed in now. In fact, a good shower right now would be just what the doctor ordered. As you drive along, for miles and miles there's a green tinge on the paddocks, the crops they have been sowing are coming up. A little bit of rain and whoosh! away ...

Re: German classic OLR 2024

Re: Life in Bealiba.

We went out to the cottage early yesterday, we had to meet a bloke to arrange to have several trees taken down. Having done that I got stuck in and got most of the weatherboards on the loft, the wire mesh up on the front and started putting the back wall vent in. It's going well. I want to get it pr...

Re: Thursday night / Friday

It's the same here in Australia. Maize maize and more maize for the long distance. They convert it and store it in the body. It's the same with sprint/ middle distance, they store fats from oil seeds and converted from carbohydrate. It's only my thoughts, so very possibly wrong, but I think they nee...
