Re: Bicc Pau International.
Hi Dave. There are 68 birds home tonight. Don’t put your birds or yourself down. If you think yours aren’t good enough there are 400 other ones in the race from the uk that weren’t good enough. You still have all day tomorrow and probably until around Monday lunchtime to be on the result sheet.

Personally Tony I would go with getting late breds. I wouldn’t worry about them coming from 3 different lofts, 4 from each if you want 12. I would go for late breds from their race team rather than their stock birds. Their race birds would have come through this years racing so will have something ...

Re: Growing old
as long as you get the room for your new loft and be able to race your birds Andy.
Will it knock you back moving the birds, will you have to start again just using the birds you have for breeding as you won't be able to let them fly out will you.
will you be able to take all your birds in the move ...

Re: Do You Let Young Birds Pair Up.
My thoughts were really with my own young birds. I dont have room to split them and they are all natural.
Would you send a young cock driving or is that asking for trouble...
I don’t mind if they do but don’t encourage them. If they do they do. I have had some good results with a young hen ...

Re: Racing clocks
The new systems the clubs are using what would I be looking to pay for one with two pads and anyone know the best place to get them
It would depend a bit on what the club you are or have joined is using. We have all the different systems in our club but some clubs only, or prefer only, to ...

Re: Growing old
Good luck with it all Andy. I retired last year but don't seem to get any more time for the birds.
I’m hoping to get somewhere with a large garden and even a small paddock if possible. I’m not planning on sitting back and doing nothing. Just wanting to have time to do what I want rather than ...
