as I'm new to pigeons I clean out after work each day and give it a good clean of a weekend, easy clean perches which is handy and scraping floors ect. Fresh water every day once the birds are out flying

Thanks for that King, we have a low level extension so as they come out of the loft they seem to fly to that first then their all up flying were ever the rang to for a good 45 minutes to 1hr 30 before back to the loft roof
so shall I continue with the loft flying for a while do you think

Weathers bad again but the birds are out in the Aviary the odd couple are still in the loft.

At the moment in the Meadows OLR in Melbourne, there are 494/908 from the 2nd race of 254 miles. This gives 54 % of the young birds home. I am happy to say we still have 5 youngsters in our syndicate in the loft.
