Well done to Phil and Rich. Super pigeons.
Lovely entries from everyone.
My young birds are, of course, just babies. Some very nice youngsters, but not as mature as the lovely pigeons entered in the young bird classes.
Regards
Murray.
I believe the results are the judges preference and well happy to be in the mix.Thank you Buster, it is hard to get a photo of the birds you want to.As they move if they think you are giving them attention, well that’s my experience.
Very hard to get them just as you would like indeed, sometimes I have taken 10 or more to get one or you get a good one and bird does a runner just as you click camera, that pic of the red you can see him fully now
I know what you both mean, I have terrible trouble trying to a decent picture of mine
@trench they look nice Trev. Good to see you still have some of my original breeding left.
I have a few now that have the Faroes pair in them, they haven't won anything yet but keep coming and hopefully they will come good if I can get some distance on them. The original Grizzle Cock been Mr reliable and over all probably my most consistent racer but sadly I have lost everything bred from him. I am hoping to try him with a new hen this and hopefully will get something decent from him, I probably won't race him anymore as I would be gutted to lose him.

Old hens this week Murray. Feel free to enter some. Send photos to me via email if you want to take part. Be great to have you involved.

Don’t blame you for stopping Geezer. He has done everything you’ve asked of him. Hopefully you can get something from him. The Faroes should come good at 400+. It will be interesting to see how they do.
I have been trying to get some good pictures of my hens, to send for the show.
Not doing very well.
Picture of the hen I think would be a live chance...
Regards
Murray.

So, that's not working well.

Keep going Muzza. Not easy getting a decent photo. Mine rarely stand right and take many photos trying to get a half decent one.
As with Andy it's a nightmare trying to get the perfect picture
Most of my 'old hens' are in, fact, old hens. Old stock pigeons.
I tried to get pictures of my nice yearling and 2yo hens.
That didnt work.
100 degrees here today.
The pigeons are not at their best.

Murray.
