just thinking about this years shows on the forum. How many members would like us to have ones like we have previously? just wanting to know if we are going to have enough members to make it worthwhile.

Andy, I would be pleased to be in again, but there probably aren't enough people to make it worthwhile.

I am good! They aren't firing rubber bullets at me. Yet.

@buster121 I’ve been having a bit of a ring round and think we should be able to. I’ll update in a couple of days.

So I will run the shows again this year. We will start on the weekend of 13th November. I am going to do things slightly differently this year to hopefully get more entries.

You can enter up to 4 entries per class.

The Grizzles and Pieds class will be either sex, 4 entries per member. This is because not all members have many Grizzles and Pieds.

We are going to try a new class this year. Matched Pairs. 3 pairs per member. This will involve taking photos of a cock and a hen of the same colour. These can comprise of pigeons that have also been entered in other classes. The matched pairs won’t be eligible for best in show except of course that one of the pair may have won a previous class.

I have spoken to Devo and he has agreed to help us out with the judging.

Morgan is going to judge the Grizzles and Pieds.

Entries will as previous years. Entries sent to me by email at [email protected]

Entries to be with me by the Friday evenings prior to the show.

The dates I have planned are:

13th November Young Hens

20th November Young Cocks

27th November Old Hens

4th December Old Cocks

11th December Grizzles and Pieds

18th December Matched Pairs

19th December Best in Show.

Any of our members can enter and it would be great to see some new members entering.

Great!

Might just be what we need to get some enthusiasm going again.

Looking forward to it.

I'm in, not been on much lately, having a change of job so had to go for assessment s and medicals just waiting now for my driving licence to come back from DVLA with provisional pcv on it then can start training to be a bus driver, hopefully not this week though as we all have COVID in our house, think our son as brought it home from college as he was the first to show symptoms.

Great to see you back Pete. Hope everything goes well for you Pete both with the new job and on a quick recovery for all the family. Still plenty of Covid around.

Great to hear from you, Pete.

I was wondering how you were. That's good news about the new job. Not about the Covid.
