Mine are 1, 11 & 17

No1 is 18Z06200 from Pete. This cock does have a bit to prove next year. He was sent to Coutances 145 miles as youngster on the 25/8/18. He returned on 14/5/19. He did look like he had been out all winter so was given the year to moult out. This year he was sent Falaise 178 miles and 6th bird to the loft. He was then sent to St Philbert-du-peuple 274 miles but he returned 25 days later.

No11 is 19Z05863. He was bred from a cock from Grizzlecock x a hen of mine. He has flown Guernsey 109 miles as a young bird then this year he was 4th bird from Falaise 178 miles then 4th bird again from Poitiers 343 miles being timed at 7.43am next day.

No17 is 19B05881 from Phil. He was 2 days late from Guernsey 109 miles as a youngster. He did make hard work of Falaise 178 miles first race this year. He was 12th bird back on the day flying 10 hours 44 minutes. He was then first bird back from St Philbert-du-peuple 274 miles flying 9 hours 43 minutes. He has certainly shown he doesn’t mind putting the hours in.

All nice looking birds Andy, it could be an exciting and interesting year for you next season as these birds have worked well under tough conditions and come through so hopefully the lessons they have learnt will pay dividends. All the best

Nice bird Rich, well done. I do like the traditional big wattle on a cock bird.
