have a nest but only ever seen the hen on the nest checked and eggs seem full

just checked and took eggs away they were full but dead never had it before will keep a eye out see if cock will sit next round having said that I don't need any ybs from her what it could be the cock she was paired to last year may just have tread her as he has a new hen

I know the wind was bad last night had 2 out of the 3 pairs in one loft leave the nest really gutted

Was there something banging against the loft in the wind George? Don’t know why they would leave the nest just because it was windy.

That’s a shame George. Early in the year yet. Plenty of time to let them go down again. 

 Andy the yearling in the loft never left her nest just the 2 old hens

@rainbow hopefully they will go back down again quickly George. 

in one of the nests I had one yb hatch 3 days ago so left the egg with the single yb go in to-day and the  other egg has hatched what a pain
