both lofts cleared of deep litter hens and cocks moved round as have many more hens than cocks for now lol it's been hard work now ready for the winter

All looks great George. Birds are looking well. I probably won’t be splitting mine up for a while yet. I still like letting mine all out together so until the days get too short for me to get them out I will keep them together.

Do you use anything in winter

 yes i use the easibed all year round this is first time i have left  the floor clean only because of the moult but i think i could put it down to-day in one loft as i still have a bag from last year it's difficult  if your birds are still together

had a look this morning think i have got it just right  Steve may have put too much down previous years
