I don't know if it is a thing in the UK, but we have a strange phenomenon in Oz.
Hi Vis clothing, polo tops, long sleeved tops, trousers with reflective bands on, they are all very wise when you are at risk of being run over by heavy equipment operated by someone who may or may not be paying attention.
My question is, at what point did Hi Vis clothing become day wear?
You can walk around the supermarket (lock downs permitting) and see people wearing expensive trainers, nice jeans, and brand new Hi Vis tops!
My wife has to look daggers at me to stop me crashing the trolley into their ankles, then apologizing for not seeing them.
I am good! They aren't firing rubber bullets at me. Yet.
Welcome to Victoria, 2021.
