Couple of droppers ive bred early so i can settle them to yb loft before my youngbird team go in , ( dnt worry the shabby box there in is an old kitbox there in till lofts done lol ! Any of you guys use droppers ?? 😀

No mate never used them, nice looking birds though fella. I did have a couple of fancy pigeons once though one of them was an owl, can't remember what the other was. I got them from a bird park on the I.O.W, just rather liked them. I did think they might be useful when first letting young birds out as they wouldn't fly too far. I did also consider getting some tipplers for the opposite reason as I believe they can fly for ages, is that right ???
Nothing wrong with shabby fella, a lot of good pigeons were bred and raced from shabby back in the day, probably still are. 😀

Yes mate tipplers can fly hours on end if kept rite , ive got some high flyers at minite they go that high i cant see them till they drop hours later , iv read a few articles wer the lofts hsv been shabby n still produced the goods

Highflyers,i brought in a few West of England pied feather legged Tumblers,a couple of years ago
Nice looking birds
Broke them in,might of not bothered,they would Not Fly at all 😡
Sold them on to a fella that Showed them.
Wanted a couple of pair to take my youngsters into the Stratosphere 😆

Just had a look at a couple of articles about tipplers, fascinating birds. Didn't realise there were clubs and competitions for these as well. They can fly to a height of 1000mtrs and stay on the wing for over 20hrs, incredible.
