Saturday, has been the hardest day we have ever experienced. But its been the first year we have sold mainly youngsters. But we had a few new customers and our old returning customers came and between them took all we had, plus ordered more for Sunday.
Yet again the bulk of our birds going to Ireland.
We've had some good reports from over the water, over the last three years. 😀

TBH Chris I never got time to get the camera out, we were so busy it was madness. I even had my camera around my neck. But didn't have any time for any shots.
I got nearly all your leaflets out mate.
We totally sold out of youngsters, and only ended up taking five yearlings back home.
But it was far better this year than last year.
Now I must sleep 😀

You can say that again.
People just believe the hard work that goes into preparing for the show.
Months of hard work, for just two days.
This year has been the best though.
It was great to hear that birds from previous years have been producing the goods for other fanciers all over the country.
I was that tired, I only woke up at 1 o clock this afternoon.

They have mate and I'm sure they will again.
Kev's allotment is nearly done now, we just need to get a decent path down there.
Next is my loft construction.
I'm looking forward to the Young bird season.

He's like a pig in shit, down on the allotment these days.
Since we put in the lights and he went and bought the generators, he's down there from morning till night.
I've never seen him so motivated and so positive.
He is going to be a hard act to follow come the race season.
We have introduced a few different families, we've done some good outcrosses.
He has said he's not going to bother with any old bird racing, but instead is going to be flying a team of 100 youngbirds and is going to train the hell out of them, my team of thirty are going training with him too.
It's gonna be good, he was damn good on his own, but working with me, he's going to be outstanding.

The trick is Chris developing a routine, that fits in with your life.
One of my best race seasons, I was self employed doing pressure washing and chemical cleaning.
I was working flat out, but I used to only go into the birds twice a day, it was enough though mate.
But it is nice to be able to spend as much time as you like with them.
